IMPORTANT – Local Plan early consultation
Some of you will have received this update email from SDC. It is absolutely imperative for the future of Cam that as many residents as possible feedback to SDC on hopes, needs, what’s important to us and our fears for our ‘village’ and way of life in the future. It is important to READ the notes fully. The sites put forward on the map show what land has been put forward by landowners and developers but it doesn’t mean they will be accepted and therefore developed, the notes make this clear.
I intend to raise the consultation at this Wednesday’s Cam Council Full Meeting to get a steer on how best they can support residents in completing the feedback and answering our questions. It will undoubtedly be on the Planning & Highways Meeting agenda for next Wednesday, 8th July which will be issued later this week.
I can’t stress enough just how vital having your say on the future of Cam and our district is – now more than ever. Talk to your neighbours about this, your friends, your family, while we still have chance to have a say in shaping the future of the beautiful place we live in before it’s too late and changed totally beyond recognition.
CCAG mantra is ‘I said someone should do something about that, and then I realised I AM SOMEBODY’. Please don’t just sit back and think your feedback won’t make a difference, we have to try 👍
