We know from experience that these so called consultations are always interpreted in favour of the developer (remember Bowers Lea). We already have c1000+ houses with permission (266 by Kerry Foods and c795 by Millwood garage about to start) in Cam and another c600+ in the draft local plan plus an appeal in motion for 73 at Taits Hill – when is enough, enough? We are quickly turning into Kingsway/Quedgley/Yate. Let’s not give them more ammunition to build on green fields.
The developer says 120 dwellings in the so called online consultation but dig a bit deeper on their website and low and behold it’s 150 – more manipulation!
