TAITS HILL APPLICATION – REFUSED 👍
S.25/0447/OUT – Outline planning application with all matters reserved except for access for residential development to provide up to 73 dwellings, public open space, community orchard, and associated access, vehicle parking, and drainage and landscaping works.
Thank you to all those who wrote in to SDC with comments and objections to this application which would have completely blighted the open countryside of Taits Hill, destroyed the separation of Cam and Stinchcombe and undoubtedly caused a lot of road safety issues. It also goes to show that when residents and parish/town councils support one another we can influence these planning decisions. Yes, they may well appeal but they have a lot of hurdles to jump if they do!
The right development, in the right place has to be the way forward and NOT speculative development 👍
